The Waterloo CBT clinic offers evidence-based psychological services for a wide range of mental health concerns. We specialize in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), which is considered the gold-standard approach in mental health care. CBT focuses on the ways our thoughts and behaviours contribute to difficult emotions and mental health symptoms, and teaches practical strategies to disrupt problematic patterns and respond to situations and triggers more effectively. CBT has been extensively researched and shown to help people manage and overcome many psychological concerns including anxiety, depression, stress and OCD. We know that starting therapy can feel like a big step. That’s why we focus on creating a safe and supportive environment where you will work collaboratively with your therapist to address your concerns.
