Treatment: How CBTi Works

Unlike medication, CBTi helps you address the underlying thoughts, habits and behaviours that keep sleep problems going. It is more than sleep hygiene, which is insufficient for treating chronic insomnia. Working collaboratively with your therapist, you will learn how to manage racing thoughts, rebuild a healthy sleep routine and develop habits that promote deeper, more restorative rest. The strategies you learn are practical, personalized and designed to create lasting change.

Before enrolling, we complete a comprehensive assessment to ensure the program is a good fit and to tailor the approach to your individual needs. This program is suitable for adults experiencing chronic insomnia or persistent difficulties with falling or staying asleep.
