

Dr. Dee Gavric is a registered clinical psychologist with the College of Psychologists of Ontario and is the co-director of the Waterloo CBT Clinic. She completed her Masters and Ph.D. at the University of Waterloo and her pre-doctoral residency at the Royal Ottawa Mental Health Centre. Prior to co-founding the Waterloo CBT Clinic, she worked at the Anxiety Treatment and Research Clinic at St. Josephs Healthcare Hamilton.
Dr. Gavric provides consultation, assessment, and cognitive behaviour therapy to adults and adolescents, and has a particular interest in the treatment of anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder, posttraumatic stress, insomnia, depression, and related difficulties. Dr. Gavric works collaboratively with her clients in order to develop a treatment plan tailored to their unique needs and goals. She is committed to providing evidence-based treatments in a supportive and trusting environment. Dr. Gavric offers daytime appointments Monday through Friday.
Dr. Gavric is actively involved in supervising and training other professionals in CBT at the clinic as well as in her role as an adjunct faculty member in the Psychology Department at the University of Waterloo. She has presented her research at national and international conferences and published articles on anxiety and related disorders in peer-reviewed journals. She is a founding member of the Canadian Association of Cognitive Behavioural Therapies (CACBT), the Canadian Psychological Association (CPA), and the Ontario Psychological Association (OPA).
