

Dr. Erin Fallis is a clinical psychologist registered with the College of Psychologists of Ontario and is co-director of the Waterloo CBT Clinic. She received her Masters and Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Waterloo. She completed her pre-doctoral residency at the The Royal Ottawa Mental Health Centre, training primarily in the Mood and Anxiety Disorders Program. She has worked in private practice since 2015.
Dr. Fallis provides consultation, assessment, and therapy services to adults and couples. She uses Cognitive Behavioural Therapy to assist individuals experiencing depression, anxiety and anxiety disorders, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), stress-related difficulties, insomnia, and interpersonal issues. In her work with couples, Dr. Fallis uses Gottman Method Couples Therapy to help clients address concerns such as communication difficulties, relationship dissatisfaction, and infidelity. Dr. Fallis’ approach to therapy is warm, respectful, and collaborative. She works with each client to understand their personal strengths, difficulties, and treatment goals in order provide individualized treatment using strategies supported by research. Dr. Fallis offers daytime appointments Monday through Thursday.
Dr. Fallis is a member of several professional organizations including the Canadian Association of Cognitive and Behavioural Therapies (CACBT), the Canadian Psychological Association (CPA), and the Ontario Psychological Association (OPA). She has conducted and published research focused on understanding couples’ sexual satisfaction and functioning.
