Dr. Ashley Hyatt, C.Psych. is registered with the College of Psychologists of Ontario. Dr. Hyatt completed her Bachelor of Arts at the University of Waterloo, and her Masters and Ph.D. in Clinical and Counselling Psychology, both at the University of Toronto, OISE. Dr. Hyatt has worked with diverse clients in a variety of professional settings. She completed her pre-doctoral residency at the Centre for Addictions and Mental Health (CAMH).

Dr. Hyatt provides consultation, assessment and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy to adolescents and adults. She has experience assisting clients working through trauma, depression, anxiety, panic disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), stress, emotion regulation and insomnia. Dr. Hyatt values collaboration and prioritizes working to empower clients. She creates a unique treatment plan tailored to each individual’s personal experiences and difficulties to help clients achieve their treatment goals. She seeks to create a safe therapeutic environment for all by conveying warmth and prioritizing the therapeutic relationship. Dr. Hyatt offers virtual daytime appointments Monday through Wednesday, Thursday afternoons and Friday mornings.

Dr. Hyatt also has a research background exploring how Indigenous traditional knowledge improves mental health outcomes of Indigenous peoples. She advocates for including cultural approaches to decolonize mental health treatments and promote healing and mental wellness.
